HOTEL INTERNAL REGULATIONS FOR LONG-STAYS
“THE VIEW LOFTS AT COVALIA”
These regulations are mandatory for all people occupying and using the facilities of The View Lofts at Covalia
(hereinafter, The Hotel). It is the responsibility of all occupants to read, understand, and comply with these
regulations. The Hotel reserves the right to enforce these provisions and the corresponding penalties.
All occupants and/or people entering the Hotel, without exception, are subject to compliance with these
Regulations, which are considered an integral part of the long-stay accommodation contract accepted on the
registration form (hereinafter “Check-in”) and must be respected as such, in accordance with the following
rules:
CHECK-IN AND VISITORS
1. Only the person or people who have signed the Check-in and/or corresponding Contract, or who are listed
therein, will be considered guests.
2. Each room and/or suite may be used by a maximum of two (2) people, who must be registered on the
Check-in and/or Contract.
3. The guest must declare the exact number of people who will occupy the room and/or suite and pay the
corresponding amount for that number of people, with a maximum of two (2) people per room and/or suite,
who must also sign the Registration Sheet.
4. The guest must notify the Hotel in writing at least 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance of the arrival of any
additional person and/or visitor.
5. If any person is not properly registered with the Hotel, they may not use the facilities or spend the night in
the room. The Hotel expressly reserves the right to refuse admission to any person who is not properly
registered in accordance with these regulations.
6. If the guest registers any additional person, the guest will be jointly liable for said person. It is understood
that there may not be more than two (2) guests per room. Furthermore, if the guest wishes to use the facilities,
they may do so provided that the guest is always present and is with them. In addition to the above, the use
of facilities by the Guest's visitors will be as follows:
a) Swimming pool, gym, and self-service laundry area: $500.00 plus VAT, per person.
b) Breakfast: $200.00 plus VAT, per person.
c) Overnight visitor rate: $750.00 plus VAT, per person. *The maximum number of people per room
and/or suite may not be exceeded. This rate does not include services, amenities, or breakfast.
7. In order to locate each guest in case of any situation involving them, they will be required to provide a
telephone number and email address at the time of registration and/or check-in and/or signing of the contract.
8. In the event that the guest loses, breaks, and/or physically damages the smart card, an additional charge
of $400.00 plus taxes will be applied for each lost, damaged, and/or broken card.
9. All invoices must be requested at the time of registration and/or check-in and/or signing of the contract.
The hotel cannot issue an invoice once payment has been made. Furthermore, the guest must provide all the
necessary and complete tax information requested by the hotel to issue the corresponding invoices.
10. Guests may not bring any type of animals and/or pets onto the premises at any time; likewise, it is
prohibited to bring firearms, bladed weapons, gunpowder, explosives, radioactive materials, chemicals,
biological waste, drugs of any kind, instruments for processing them, and/or any other item of a similar nature
that serves or has served to commit any illegal act.
11. Guests must notify the Hotel reception if they have any contagious disease or require any specific
treatment.
STAY
12. Additional-cost amenities within the Hotel are not unlimited, such as open office rentals, meeting room
rentals, and multipurpose room rentals. If the guest requires any of the aforementioned amenities, they must
inquire at the Hotel reception about the additional cost and availability.
13. If the loss and/or damage of any item in the room, amenities, or in the Hotel in general is reported, the
Hotel reserves the right to charge an additional fee for repair or, if applicable, replacement of the corresponding
item. The guest, in turn, must cover the cost of repairing and/or replacing any item belonging to the Hotel
that has been damaged, totally or partially, whether through negligence or intentionally.
14. Guests must keep their conversations to a moderate tone so as not to disturb other guests.
15. Guests must refrain from using recording devices, electrical appliances, musical instruments, and/or noisy
games that disturb other guests. The mere fact that Reception receives complaints from any other guest
regarding noise or disturbances emanating from the room and/or suite will be considered a disturbance to
other guests.
16. Guests must report any damage to their room immediately upon arrival (broken glass, scratched or burned
furniture, etc.). Otherwise, the Hotel will hold the guest responsible for the damages and will charge the
corresponding amount.
17. Guests are prohibited from installing nails or placing images or objects on the walls, lighting fires, or
possessing substances that, due to their odor or easy decomposition, may disturb other hotel guests. Likewise,
obstructing balconies or corridors in any way is prohibited.
18. Guests and the Hotel shall not discriminate on the basis of sex, religion, political beliefs, nationality, and/or
social status.
19. Guests who exhibit aggressive or threatening behavior, or who engage in any conduct that disrespects
Hotel staff or other guests, must leave the Hotel immediately and will be reported to the appropriate
authorities.
20. Guests must respect the established hours for restricted areas, which are posted in their respective areas.
21. In accordance with Article 188 of the General Health Law, smoking is prohibited in guest rooms, the lobby,
and hallways, with the exception of terraces and areas specifically authorized for smoking. Guests who fail to
comply with the provisions of this paragraph will be referred to the appropriate authorities, who will determine
the corresponding penalty. Additionally, the Hotel will charge an extra fee of at least $100.00 USD plus tax for
laundry and dry cleaning of curtains, bedspreads, blankets, and other items.
22. Any behavior contrary to good morals within the Hotel is expressly prohibited, including the use, sale,
and/or distribution of drugs and prohibited substances of any kind, the presence of prostitutes, and other
similar acts. Should the Hotel become aware of any of the aforementioned conduct or events, it will notify the
Guest only once, in order to prevent recurrence of such behavior. In case of repeated offenses, the Hotel
reserves the right to terminate the lodging contract and request the Guest's departure from the hotel.
23. The Guest may not remove, relocate, extract, or remove any item or property included in the room and/or
suite inventory.
CLEANING
24. Room cleaning will be done exclusively between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., once a day.
25. Due to safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance protocols, the Hotel reserves the right to enter rooms
and/or suites, at most every three days, to perform the corresponding cleaning, regardless of whether "Do
Not Disturb" signs are posted or cleaning is requested for different days.
SUITE HANDOVER AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT
26. The Hotel will not be responsible for items left in public and/or common areas within the Hotel.
27. Items left in the room by Hotel guests and found after the guest's departure will be kept for up to 30
(thirty) days, pending retrieval by the guest. After this period, the Hotel will dispose of unclaimed items as it
deems appropriate.
28. The guest must return the keys and remote controls provided to them upon suite handover. Otherwise,
the Hotel will charge an additional fee of $400.00 pesos plus applicable taxes for each key and/or remote
control not returned.
29. The guest may not retain any items loaned by the Hotel, with the understanding that they must be returned
to the Hotel in the same condition in which they were received. Otherwise, the guest will have to cover the
cost of the repair, or, if applicable, the total or partial loss, with the determination of the item's value at the
Hotel's discretion.
30. Once the suite has been handed over and the room inspected, if any item is missing from the suite, the
Hotel reserves the right to charge the corresponding amount from the security deposit.
PARKING
31. Guests are entitled to the use of one parking space per room and/or suite, which is subject to availability.
The Hotel will not provide exclusive spaces nor does it guarantee availability within the parking lot.
32. The View Lofts will not be responsible for any damage or loss, total or partial, that guests' vehicles may
suffer within the Hotel's parking lot.
33. The Hotel, likewise, will not be responsible for the loss, theft, and/or misplacement of any item or belonging
of guests, whether inside or outside their vehicles.
34. Any behavior contrary to good morals is expressly prohibited within the Hotel Parking Lot, including the
use, sale, and/or distribution of drugs and prohibited substances of any kind, the entry of prostitutes, etc.
35. Any illicit or immoral activity is expressly prohibited within the parking lot and/or inside Guest vehicles.
36. The Guest will be responsible for any damage, total or partial, that may be caused to the facilities of The
View Lofts, Covalia, and/or the property of any third party using the aforementioned facilities.
37. The Guest will be solely responsible for the origin of the vehicle, the objects inside it, and their legality.
OTHER
38. The View Lofts at Covalia will not be held responsible for any inconvenience that external service providers,
such as dry cleaners, laundry services, taxi services, tour agencies, among others, may cause to the guest.
39. The Hotel has security cameras inside and outside its facilities, and if necessary, the material obtained will
be made available to the corresponding authorities. Guests may consult the Hotel's Privacy Notice on the
website www.theviewlofts.mx.
40. For any clarification or claim, the guest must present a payment receipt duly signed by the guest and the
Hotel receptionist.
41. In the event that the guest violates the regulations, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the
corresponding service agreement, regardless of whether the room amount has been paid in full. In such a
case, the guest will not be entitled to any refund.
42. Any parcel service, home delivery, mail, Rappi, Uber Eats, Didi, and/or any other similar service must be
delivered directly to reception. Access to hotel rooms and/or suites by delivery personnel or anyone not
affiliated with the Hotel is strictly prohibited. The Hotel is not responsible for food delivered that is in poor
condition or that causes allergic reactions or food poisoning to the Guest.
43. For any disputes, follow-up, questions, or clarifications, the MEXMOVE agency will act as an intermediary
between the Hotel and the Guest and will be the official channel of communication between the parties.
44. Guests are prohibited from personally hiring any Hotel service or personnel to perform personal services
or favors, with or without remuneration, during or outside of their working hours, such as cleaning, food
preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, and similar errands.
45. The hotel is not responsible for the contents of packages or personal shipments received or stored at
reception. Likewise, hotel staff are strictly prohibited from receiving or storing valuables such as money,
jewelry, or other high-value items.
46. In the case of receiving large or heavy items, their transport must be carried out using the freight elevator,
with prior request and authorization from the Hotel, and only within the established hours. The operation of
the freight elevator will always be carried out by authorized Hotel personnel.
47. Guests must use the hotel elevators appropriately. Only items whose dimensions and weight do not
compromise the safety or operation of the elevators are permitted. Any item exceeding these dimensions must
be transported using the freight elevator, in accordance with the conditions established in the previous point.
The occupant at this time expressly states that he/she agrees with the provisions contained in this Regulation,
being aware that non-compliance with this instrument will result in the application of the corresponding
penalties and/or surcharges.
